A new research study found something different, something really wonderful – they found that there was actually less heart-clogging plaque after a two-year weight loss diet. They measured carotid arteries with ultrasound (Those big arteries that go up to the brain supplying oxygenated blood to the large, front part of the brain, where speech, thinking, personality, sensory and motor functions are located.).
