A menu item can be considered a snack or just part of a meal. This can definitely be considered one of the meal items. The reason that pinwheels are so often served as snacks is that you can hold the outside and eat them with your fingers – thus, the name finger foods. Vary the ingredients to please your crowd.

Ingredients
- whole wheat wraps, Flat out flat breads or whole wheat tortillas
- black beans, white beans or humus Mashed canned rinsed drained
- cream cheese Neufchatel low fat
- tabasco sauce sprinkle a dash
- green chilies or jalapeno pepper diced
- onion or shallot Finely diced
- olives Stuffed or black
- roma tomatoes Diced fresh, seeds removed
Instructions
- If including beans, place them in food processor and blend until smooth; add a little garlic and chili powder if desired.
- Spread on the cream cheese.
- Spread on the a thin layer of humus or smashed beans.
- Sprinkle on the olives.
- Sprinkle on the shallots or onions.
- Arrange the chilies and peppers in center.
- Just one of many arrangements of ingredients.
- Roll up the flat bread or tortilla.
- Cut into 1/2 inch slices and serve with salsa.
Refrigerate for 30 mins for easy cutting
