Hearty Cakes

Follow this recipe and add raisins and sunflower seeds to your wheat pancakes for a truly hearty pancake breakfast.
Ingredients:
- 1 ¼ cup wheat pancake mix
- 1 ½ cups water
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil (or vegetable oil)
- ¼ c. raisins
- ¼ c. sunflower seeds
Directions:
Mix together the wet ingredients; egg, water and oil. Pour over the dry pancake mix.
Do not over mix; there will be lumps and that’s fine.
Stir in the raisins and sunflower seeds.
Cook in hot skillet; turning once.
Top with yogurt for an extra healthy breakfast.
