I can’t believe how easy it is to put a nut crust on fish. Crusting makes the presentation so superb and the flavor divine. I thought of making this recipe while I was writing Food Allergy May Not Be Real or Permanent because it has three fairly common allergens: fish, egg and nuts. I’m truly sorry for those who can’t make this recipe – what a treat! I should have written, ‘What an easy treat!’

Instructions

  1. Cover both sides of your fish fillets with the beaten egg whites
  2. Sprinkle with the chopped almonds and lightly with salt and pepper.

  3. Fry in extra virgin olive oil.
  4. Turn the fish over once.
