I can’t believe how easy it is to put a nut crust on fish. Crusting makes the presentation so superb and the flavor divine. I thought of making this recipe while I was writing Food Allergy May Not Be Real or Permanent because it has three fairly common allergens: fish, egg and nuts. I’m truly sorry for those who can’t make this recipe – what a treat! I should have written, ‘What an easy treat!’

Ingredients
- 2 medium fish
- 1 large egg whites, beaten
- 1/2 cup almonds chopped
- to taste Salt
- to taste pepper
- Extra virgin olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Cover both sides of your fish fillets with the beaten egg whites
- Sprinkle with the chopped almonds and lightly with salt and pepper.
- Fry in extra virgin olive oil.
- Turn the fish over once.
- Delicious Mediterranean-style fish.
