Dr. Grandma’s Whole Wheat Muffins Your Way Mix
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking Powder
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk
- 1/3 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/3 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ cup sugar, or non-caloric sweetener equivalent
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together well.
2. If making multiple packets, put 2 cups of mix into each sandwich bag.
3. When ready to cook, mix each packet with the amount of water in the recipe, plus ¼
cup oil. The water ranges between ½ and 1 cup depending upon the wetness of the fruit/
other ingredients. Applesauce and diced canned peaches, for example only take ½ cup
water; bran flakes take one cup of water.
4. Bake at 400 degrees F, until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
