Carrots have many important vitamins and minerals. They are rich in antioxidants beta carotene, alpha carotene, phytochemicals and glutathione, calcium and potassium, and vitamins A, B1, B2, C, and E which protect as well as nourish the skin. Carrots contain a form of calcium easily absorbed by the body. Finally they also contain copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorous.and sulphur - better than a wonder drug!!

    Ingredients

    Instructions

    1. Put cut carrots in mediun- large sauce pan.
    2. Cover the carrots with water and simmer for 10 minutes until just tender.
    3. Drain and return the carrots to the saucepan.
    4. Add the remaining ingredients and heat and stir.
