Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas

December 25, 2009 in Uncategorized by Joyce Bunderson

Dear All,

Our wonderful family gathering last evening was perfect - visiting, laughing, sharing, singing, hugging, loving each other, and, yes, eating. We are truly a blessed family, with many wonderful friends. This morning we will start very soon (if I get off the computer) and go from home to home visiting, sharing what the children received from Santa and just spending a short while with each family.

I was reading the Los Angeles Times briefly this morning; an editorial by Karen Armstrong was in this Christmas morning edition. I'll read it later, because I've got to get ready to leave; but you may enjoy reading it before I can.  I like what I saw at a quick glance.

She said something about this being a season of 'good will.'  I like that! I do wish we could all work a bit harder to make it last all year long. I like that Miss Armstrong wrote about, "visions for a more compassionate world. We need such a vision now."

Dear Miss Armstrong, wherever you are ....... Many of us out here in cyberspace, share your desire for a more compassionate world and know we need it now.  I guess, for myself, I can only help that world come a little closer, if I strive to remember to personally strive to be the way I want the world to become.

I send my wishes for Peace on Earth, and Good Will to Men.

My best wishes for a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you,

Joyce
